11月11日晚間，F(xiàn)TX官方發(fā)布公告稱，F(xiàn)TX US、Alameda Research Ltd和大約130家其他附屬公司（合稱“FTX集團(tuán)”）已根據(jù)《美國破產(chǎn)法》第二章在特拉華州地區(qū)開始自愿程序，以啟動(dòng)一個(gè)有序的程序，為所有全球利益相關(guān)者的利益審查和貨幣化資產(chǎn)。John Ray已被任命為FTX集團(tuán)的首席執(zhí)行官。Sam Bankman Fried已辭去首席執(zhí)行官一職，并將繼續(xù)協(xié)助過渡。據(jù)悉，F(xiàn)TX 的新任首席執(zhí)行官 John J. Ray, III，是當(dāng)時(shí)辦理安然公司清算時(shí)的芝加哥律師。安然丑聞案曝光于2001年10月，既是美國歷史上最大破產(chǎn)案，也是最大的審計(jì)失敗事件。

據(jù)了解，第十一章主要適用大型企業(yè)，它的目的是制定重組計(jì)劃，可以使得大型企業(yè)免于解體，并在未來逐步償還債權(quán)人。有通俗的解釋稱，這種情況下可以理解為債務(wù)人躺在手術(shù)臺上對債權(quán)人說，醫(yī)生我覺得我還可以再搶救一下，然后出具自救方案，即重組方案，也會(huì)進(jìn)一步引入投資人，讓公司東山再起獲得盤活資產(chǎn)取得現(xiàn)金流的機(jī)會(huì)。在重組過程中，擔(dān)保債權(quán)人是喪失優(yōu)先受償權(quán)的，其債權(quán)的擔(dān)保抵押物都暫時(shí)不能實(shí)現(xiàn)抵押權(quán)，優(yōu)先滿足企業(yè)的生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營需要。這也是債權(quán)人為了獲得更完全的債務(wù)清償所做出的讓步。

據(jù)向法院提交的法庭文件，Alameda Research的資產(chǎn)和負(fù)債估值都在100億至500億美元之間，債權(quán)人超過10萬人，這一負(fù)債的估值規(guī)模超出所有人的預(yù)料。

隨后，SBF發(fā)推文稱，今天在美國提交了 FTX、FTX US 和 Alameda 的破產(chǎn)法第 11 章訴訟程序。這并不一定意味著這些公司或它們主要為客戶提供價(jià)值和資金的能力的終結(jié)，并相信新的CEO Ray有能力做的最好。我將努力盡快明確用戶恢復(fù)方面的情況。我很快就會(huì)寫一篇更完整的關(guān)于這部劇的文章。

法院文件顯示共有134家公司將參與破產(chǎn)重組，包括其在香港、日本、歐洲等全球多地的子公司，以下子公司不包括在第二章訴訟中：Ledgerx LLC、FTXDigital Markets有限公司FIX Australia Pty Ltd和FIX Express Pay Ltd。
